The advancements in additive manufacturing (AM) technologies applied to medicine in recent years have significantly influenced and enhanced the quality of life for the population. Presently, it is possible to create the impossible, including personalized implants, prostheses, and more. However, in tissue engineering applications, while 3D printing has been widely used, it has not fully optimized its potential due to various limitations of conventional 3D printing technologies: speed, biocompatibility, among others. Consequently, new technologies have emerged to address these issues and completely eliminate them. One such innovation is volumetric 3D printing, a layer-less manufacturing technology capable of producing complex geometries in a matter of seconds. This breakthrough is set to revolutionize the field of biofabrication
